Look For The Positives

After going to Church and having lunch with friends we came straight home and decided we were better off not going out of our door for anything!

So, we spent some entertaining time working on a 1,000 pieces puzzle we have out.

While doing this, it made me think of how relationships are similar to solving a puzzle. . .

Throughout your life with your partner, many different patterns, colors, and combinations shape who you become. Sometimes there’s darkness and it seems almost impossible to distinguish a pattern.

Other times there are colors and light, and you rejoice in making sense of the pattern.

But at the end of the day, all the colors and shapes contribute to the beauty of the overall picture.

If you work together you can learn to enjoy everything. . . the pretty and the not-so-enjoyable.

Today I want to encourage you to remember the beauty of your love in whichever circumstance you are right now.

Take time to share with each other each day 3 specific things you are thankful for and that will keep in your mind that your relationship has light and joy every day, yes, even in dark moments.

Your Turn. . .

Look for the positives and you’ll find them.

Even better, DO positive actions for your partner and your relationship will become more positive.

P.S.

If your relationship is in a negative spiral and you are having a hard time even thinking about positives, take advantage of Dr. Ada’s gift and schedule a Rekindle Love and Intimacy Strategy Session right on her calendar.
